Cookies Policy
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files stored on a device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels and software development tools that store or access information on a device. UK privacy rules apply to cookies and similar technologies.
2. Technologies used by the current Holiness Glow website
| Technology | Purpose | Type | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
hg-bag in browser session storage | Keeps the products and quantities in your shopping bag while you browse. | Strictly necessary | Browser/tab session |
| IONOS/server security technologies | Hosting, traffic routing, availability and security. Exact names may depend on the final deployment configuration. | Strictly necessary where used | Varies by service |
| Stripe Checkout technologies | Payment processing, checkout security and fraud prevention after you choose secure checkout. | Necessary for payment service | Set and controlled by Stripe on its services |
3. Analytics and advertising
The current store build does not intentionally load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or other non-essential advertising trackers. If Holiness Glow adds analytics, advertising or other non-essential technologies later, we will update this policy and use a consent mechanism before those technologies are activated where required.
4. Your choices
You can control or delete cookies and stored website data through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may affect features such as the shopping bag or checkout.
If a cookie banner is introduced for non-essential technologies, rejecting optional cookies must not prevent you from using the core shop. You will also be able to change your preferences later.
5. Third-party services
When you proceed to Stripe Checkout, you leave the Holiness Glow website and use Stripe’s hosted payment environment. Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies for checkout, security and fraud prevention under its own policies.
The homepage also offers embedded Instagram content from Holiness Glow. We use a click-to-load approach: Instagram/Meta content is not loaded until you choose to view the Instagram videos. Once loaded, Instagram/Meta may set cookies or use similar technologies under its own policies. If you prefer not to load embedded content, you can use the ordinary Instagram links instead.
